The Golden Rose Stakes’ honour roll-listed Bivouac now stands as stud for Darley Australia and boasts his origins from Dazzler in Woodlands.
Godolphin Australia’s Woodlands Stud manager John Sunderland joined Racing Dreams to discuss the pathway Bivouac took to become a champion racehorse.
“Bivouac was also born and raised within the Godolphin farms,” Mr Sunderland said.
“He sort of lived in the paddocks till 18 months of age.
“They live here till they are 18 months of age and then move up from the farming side to get broken in and then ultimately go into the racing system.”
