Right then my first Trout lure fishing video is finally here, as promised. Sorry it's taken a while but Corona virus has limited my travel options slightly. But now we are starting to move again there will be more to come!! This is not a video of giants but hopefully a good representation of my wild trout fishing. I wanted to try and capture the beauty, fun and adventure that comes with wading small wild streams on the hunt for potential monsters. This stream's "big" fish are usually about 1.5-2lb but I have seen a couple of big, old and scary 6lbers crusing after my lures in sessions gone by which is what always brings you back for more. For me Trout fishing is so much more than catching trout. It's the adventure and connection with the wild that keeps me coming back alongside the chance of catching that truly special monster one day. This was a good chance for me to give the Major Craft Finetail travel rod and Diawa SteeZ Air TW a decent work out. What a fun set up!
