Mas dumami pa ang mga barko ng China na namataang umaaligid sa mga teritoryo ng Pilipinas sa West Philippine Sea.
Sa pinakahuling monitoring ng Philippine Navy, umaabot sa 251 Chinese vessels ang nakita sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng WPS, at pinakamarami sa mga ito ay nasa Escoda o Sabina Shoal.
