আগামি বছর থেকে ফিটনেস সার্টিফিকেট ছাড়া সৌদি আরবে যেতে পারবে না বাংলাদেশি হজযাত্রীরা। বাংলাদেশ থেকে কিডনি, ক্যান্সারসহ জটিল রোগ নিয়ে হজ পালন করতে গিয়ে মারাত্মক অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়ছেন হজযাত্রীরা। এ কারণে ফিটনেস পরীক্ষার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে সৌদি সরকার। চলতি বছর ৮৭ হাজার হাজির মধ্যে সৌদি আরবে চিকিৎসা নিতে হয়েছে ৬৯ হাজার জনকে।

Bangladeshi pilgrims will not be able to travel to Saudi Arabia without a fitness certificate from next year. Pilgrims from Bangladesh are falling seriously ill while performing Hajj with complex diseases including kidney and cancer. For this reason, the Saudi government has decided to conduct a fitness test.
