Another Marshall flavoured build. This one is pretty much a late 60s 1986 model Plexi. Except I have modified the circuit to accommodate 6l6gc output valves. There are some switching options to boost mids and gain. Amp has about 4 hours of play time on it, so it is still breaking in during these clips. I anticipate it will sound a bit less congested and a bit tighter in sessions to come. It is running some very mismatched old Sylvania 6L6s **spooky internet forum music begins** "OOOoooo no, but they have to be matched!!!" and some used old Aussie mullards in the preamp "what do u mean itz not NOS?1!"
One thing I forgot to detail in the video ***There is a bright cap on the bright channel***. The stock 1986 bass spec circuits do NOT have these.
Guitar was an old PRS ce22. I ran straight into the amp and straight into the Boss TAE core, with some Celestion G12-65 and greenback IRs that I am tweaking just for this amp.
