In 2016, I completed the Marathon des Sables. Many list this as the toughest foot race on Earth. A friend bet me I couldn't make it and ultimately I decided to attempt it to help raise money for charity.
This endeavor was all done at the last minute. Because of circumstances I only had two months to train. When you are running 100 miles a week and working a full-time job, it gives you very little time to prep other areas like organizing your pack.
This interview was for The Scene, and I describe the preparation and the event.
