Sanctum - Mirrors (Official Video)

Описание: Hello viewers and or listeners, Adam here. Thank you for taking the time to dabble in the essence of my musical ramblings, what I like to call Sanctum.

This particular song, Mirrors, reflects if you will a phenomenon I believe is present in each and every one of us at some point or another; self awareness and self doubt. I cannot recall how many times in the midst of writing something (and in life generally) that I stopped in my tracks and asked myself, "is this, or am I good enough?"

Recently enough however, I have had the pleasure of receiving off-hand, some very encouraging words from some big names on the internet. one of which is Glenn Fricker (SpectreSoundStudios on youtube) who has repeatedly mentioned that the music industry has become stale with many bands and artists relying on digital enhancement, quantized instruments for example, and hence have lost a sense of humanity within the recordings themselves. My point is, this recording isn't perfect, nor is the video. and Glenn gave me the inspiration to be okay with the warts and all of my very mediocre recording capabilities, so thank you Glenn =]

I was heavily influenced by Pink Floyd, Devin Townsend, Opeth, and Tool while writing Mirrors. I hope you enjoy!
