TREE CULTIVATION TECHNIQUES OF IMPORTANT TREE SPECIES
ICFRE-IFGTB produces QPMs for several tree species. Tissue culture Teak is one of the
mostly preferred species by the tree growers. In this video module, its distribution, demand
& supply, micro propagation methods, nursery techniques, silvicultural practices,
agroforestry models with TC teak are explained.
This video module is curated from the footages of the training program on “Tree
Cultivation Techniques of important tree species” conducted during 4-6 th January, 2023
for KVK Personnels organized by Van Vigyan Kendra (VVK), Coimbatore of IFGTB in
collaboration with TNAU.
