Then comes the explosive finale: light the fuse, step back, and feel the thunderous blast of a cannon identical to those that defended 18th-century Louisbourg 🔥.

The crowd cheers, you raise your hat in salute, and as a keepsake, you’ll even get a piece of the rope you used to fire the cannon 🎖️. I was also marked with gunpowder on my cheeks, a traditional sign of respect that made the experience unforgettable.
