She was directly appointed as the Deputy Superintendent of Police at the young age of 25. She is a student of History and has a particular interest in Literature. She has also published poems and stories in renowned regional and national books and magazines. She was the only women police officer in the Dacoity Eradication Mission and only women officer involved in confrontation and combat with the dacoits.
