Описание: LSU tipped off its highly anticipated season with a home opener against Southeastern and the Tigers were impressive with a host of newcomers making big contributions. 5-star freshman Naz Reid was the team's high scorer with 17 points while fellow 5-star Emmitt Williams was the only player in the game to post a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. 4-star PG Javonte Smart finished with 10 points and five rebounds with no turnovers, transfer Marlon Taylor scored 15 while showing off his high-flying talents and sophomore Tremont Waters had seven points with a game-high five steals. Southeastern's Parker Edwards was the high scorer in the game with 25 points in just 10 minutes and the Tigers also had a tribute for slain teammate Wayde Sims following the game.
