My Beginner’s Top Tips:
Wear appropriate safety equipment (Gloves, Boots, Glasses, Ear Protection – available below).
Take your time.
Measure twice, cut once.
Use the appropriate masonry blade (available below).
Have a few blades in stock in case one goes blunt.
Secure the pipe as solidly as possible before cutting to avoid shaking/vibration.
Wrap tape around where you intend cutting and mark a straight line using a sharpie pen or Marker. (Available below)
Keep your eye above the blade to ensure consistent straight cuts.
Take regular breaks.
Always be vigilant about safety.
Allow the saw and blade to cool occasionally.
