Diamond Painting #85, how I prep my canvas (just works for me 🫣😁)

Today Diamond Painting is how I prep my canvas (just works for me 😁).

This is NOT a Tutorial Video okay. I just wanted to share with you how I prep my canvas. I always do this process and it's really works for me..In my opinion, do the way that is best for you, that you comfortable with.

Alright, the DP is 30x40cm size. No drillings today😬..next video okay..

Below are the process that I always do for prepping my canvas:-

*take out canvas, if it's curled or wrinkled, I will use scraper/roller to remove air bubbles that are trapped. I also rolled the canvas in the opposite direction. These actions help to flattening the canvas and if the creases is too deep, then I will iron the canvas not directly to the canvas (not the glue side) but place a tea towel or face towel on top of the face down canvas and iron it with a low heat/temperature. These ironing method should be done in extra careful otherwise if not handle carefully it can be dangerous eg. damage your canvas and etc .

*I will place any heavy object like my scrapbook on top of the face down canvas (with the protective plastic cover is still attached or with the release paper) for 24hrs or several days

*this is the scary part🫣
Last time I used to removed the protective plastic cover (with the outer edges/sticky borders) and cover it with painter's tape around the border. But, one day after I'm out of tapes an idea occured😀. I practice cutting the protective plastic gently. There's a few canvases that I've cut through the canvas underneath 😅..I pressed too hard ..but it's okay.. Practice Makes Perfect and always have patience 😬. The best thing is, I found that I really like it💜 and it works for me and it looks nice too.. transparent. From that day, I only use this method.

*I place the release paper that I have cut into small sections to the exposed adhesive surface. Easy to work in small section and also the most important thing is to prevent any dirt, dust and also your hands from sticking to it while you're working.

These are the process that's really works for me. I Just wanted to share with you..NOT a Tutorial okay...Do the way that you always do and suit you the best.☺️
