The Dallas Stars enter tonight’s game against the Nashville Predators at American Airlines Center (7 p.m. CT) on a season-long seven-game winning streak. If they win tonight, the Stars will tie the franchise record for longest winning streak (8), which was set during the 2023-24 season. Meanwhile, Wyatt Johnston is fresh off scoring two goals on Wednesday night, his 30th and 31st goals of the season. Johnston broke Mike Modano’s single-season Dallas record by scoring his 19th power play goal of the year and he is three PP goals shy of Dino Ciccarelli’s franchise record (22). The Predators had the worst record in the NHL on November 25th (6-12-4, 0.364), but have salvaged their season over the last three months by posting a record of 21-12-3 (0.625). Nashville enters tonight’s game just two points behind Seattle for the second Wild Card spot in the Western Conference with 24 games remaining.
