Guitarist Andrew Blanch performs works by Agustín Barrios Mangoré, Ernesto Lecuona y Casado, Raphael Rabello, Vicente Emilio Sojo (musicologist who notated Venezuelan folksongs), and Ignacio Figueroa
at the Semi-Finals Concert of the 2022 IFAC Handa Australian Singing Competition, held on Sunday 28th August at The Independent Theatre in North Sydney.
Adjudicators for the Semi-Finals Concert were Graham Pushee (National Adjudicator), Cheryl Barker AO, Brian Castles-Onion, Michael Halliwell, and Noëmi Terracini-Nadelmann. The accompanist was Bradley Gilchrist. The compere was Camille Merčep.
