This session highlights novel approaches to treatment challenging pathogens in cystic fibrosis, particularly Mycobacterium abscessus, Pseudomonas, and Stenotrophomonas. These bacteria often persist despite aggressive antimicrobial therapy and can cause a significant decline in lung function. During this session, speakers cover novel alternative treatment options, new approaches to predicting treatment response, and the interplay between pathogens in the CF microbiome. You'll also hear updates on the clinical management and treatment duration for pulmonary exacerbations.
