Professor Gloria M. Álvarez, an international arbitrator based in the United Kingdom, introduces a Special Issue of the ICSID Review–Foreign Investment Law Journal dedicated to the energy transition, co-edited with Professor Jorge Viñuales.
As the world enters the second quarter of the twenty-first century, the energy transition has emerged as a central force in global economic transformation.
