Welcome to Anse Takamaka Beach in the Seychelles, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Mahé. In this video you will see the best spots, giant tortoises, beach bars and restaurants with great friendly people. Anse Takamaka is worth a visit for anyone looking for the picturesque beaches they see on postcards, as well as to try snorkeling in the beautiful waters of the Indian Ocean. Anse Takamaka is stunning and breathtaking and once you arrive it is very easy to see why. Right next to the beach is the popular Creole restaurant Chez Batista and not far away is the giant tortoises enclosure. However, keep in mind that you should not disturb the tortoises, so avoid taking photos with the flash when admiring them. There are also several different accommodations near the beach, the most famous of which is Villa Chez Batista, built into the beautiful landscape. The beautiful scenery, crystal clear water and fine sand create an incredible beach atmosphere. Anse Takamaka is located in the southwest of Mahé, not far from the famous Anse Intendance beach. Getting to the beach is easy thanks to the nearby bus stop (just 20 meters from the beach) and the presence of a car park. Buses from Victoria run here at regular intervals. This amazing beach was named after the takamaka tree, which has large shiny leaves and can grow up to 35 m tall. Takamaka trees often overhang the water's edge and drop their seeds and fruits, and almost every part of the tree is used. The leaves, flowers, seeds, fruits and bark are often used in local medicine, and the trunks are used for wood.
