Another song my band does.
Only really recorded this to test the mics I'd bought to record drums with as it is an easy song to do.
Got a Shure beta 52a for the kick, an SM57 for snare and hit-hat and 2 Behringer C2 condensers for overheads.
Need to work on placement a bit as the snare mic is picking up too much hi hat and the kick drum sounds muffled. Had to put the mic inside the hole resting on the pillow so probably need to play around with that a bit.
Everything was one take (and sounds it) bar the vocals which I did a couple of times round to use as extra backing.
I don't think Brian Johnson has anything to fear about me taking his job. Another vocal with distortion where I do not like the way my voice sounds. Don't think I'll ever be happy with my vocal placement though.
