There is nowhere in the publishing process where you will make or lose money faster than deciding on the perfect price! My first book, how to Make $100,000 Teaching Martial Arts, sold 80 copies at $69.95 from a direct mail campaign. I thought that was promising, so I changed the price to $149.95 that year. I sold a total of 1148 copies at that price. My best-selling two books are priced at $49.95 and $69.95, and I sell them at $49 on Kindle.
