West Asia War: Gulf States unite against Iran’s strikes targeting oil facilities, Trump warns Tehran

Описание: The State of Qatar on March 19 condemned in the strongest terms the Iranian attacks on energy facilities in UAE & Saudi Arabia. Qatar in its statement called the attacks as ‘blatant violation of int’l law and serious threat to global energy security’. Qatar’s Ministry of foreign affairs also warned saying “Iran’s brutal attacks on countries in the region has crossed all red lines”. “The Ministry reiterates the State of Qatar’s full solidarity with the brotherly nations to safeguard their sovereignty” the statement read. Meanwhile, key energy infrastructures in the Persian Gulf came under attack on March 18 with fires reported at a major facility in Qatar. QatarEnergy confirmed that Ras Laffan had been struck by missiles, causing "significant damage". Ras Laffan Industrial City, is a critical natural gas processing hub and cornerstone of the Qatari economy. Also, the Habshan gas facilities in Abu Dhabi have been shut down following an incident caused by debris from recently intercepted missiles. Authorities are also responding to incidents at the Bab oilfield and gas facilities, the Abu Dhabi media office added. Aerial threats were intercepted over Saudi Arabia, following warnings from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), CNN reported. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump on March 19 warned that the U.S. would take action if Qatar was attacked by Iran
