Crew Expendable – Mission Summary (Modern Warfare Remastered)
“Crew Expendable” picks up right after the intel briefing on a suspected nuclear device. Captain Price leads Bravo Team—including Soap MacTavish—on a nighttime raid against a massive cargo ship in stormy waters off the Bering Strait. The goal: intercept and secure a weapons package before it reaches enemy hands.
The team boards the ship using fast ropes under the cover of darkness, eliminating guards in tight corridors and cargo holds. As they push deeper into the vessel, the storm intensifies. Eventually, Soap discovers the package: a crate containing a Russian-made nuclear warhead.
Before the team can extract, an enemy Mi-24 helicopter attacks the ship, and the vessel is hit by a missile, causing it to tilt and begin sinking. The mission turns into a frantic escape as the ship floods and collapses around them. Soap races through the flooding hallways, dives off the deck, and is pulled into a helicopter just as the ship sinks beneath the waves.
The mission ends with the discovery that the warhead serial number matches the intel linked to a major arms dealer—setting up the story for the rest of the campaign.
