Lviv church bells plea for no-fly zone over Ukraine

Описание: (24 Mar 2022) Every day shortly before sunset at 6 p.m. a group of volunteers climb up more than 100 steps to the top Lviv's Latin Cathedral tower.
In white robes, the faithful begin hauling at ropes pulling on multiple bells creating an orchestra over the city in coordination with other churches.
But these bells are not just calling for prayer. They are calling to "close the sky" over Ukraine.
The plea for a no-fly-zone has been made repeatedly across Ukraine, and most recently again by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
But NATO leaders say establishing a no-fly zone could escalate the war to a nuclear confrontation.
Thursday marked one month since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began. Many still can't believe it began and is still ongoing.
"The world view is changing, the concept of humanity is changing, the concept of a neighbour (referring to Russia) is changing," said Yuriy Gluschuk an actor and fourth-generation bell ringer. "How come? A neighbour suddenly does so."
