Why the difference in the reception for the F 450 GS (YAY!) as compared to the KLE 500 (BOO! HISS!)?

Описание: BMW has announced their new F 450 GS at EICMA. And the reception it's getting (a baby GS!!!) is COMPETELY different from that received by the Kawasaki KLE 500 (LOSER!). What is going on???

UPDATED 11/12/25: Kawasaki has updated their website with the following details for the KLE 500:
Maximum Horsepower: 51 hp @ 10,000 rpm (Big Rock Moto lists 2024 NX500 at 47 hp)
Maximum torque: 31.7 lb-ft @ 7,500 rpm (Big Rock Moto lists 2024 NX500 as 32 lb-ft)
Ground clearance: 7.3 inches (modified from 6.9 previously - now exceeds 7.1 of NX500)
Estimated dry weight: 385.9 lbs. / 388.1 lbs. 50-State Model
Curb weight: 427.8 lbs. / 430.0 lbs. 50-State Model (2 lbs. lighter than the NX500)
