It’s #WeatherWednesday, everyone!👏🏻 I think most of us are waking up and thinking about last nights storm that rolled through Omaha⛈. I know I am!
Here’s a picture of hail from West Omaha. Maria Peters shared this picture with me on Twitter.
Some parts of the Omaha metro looked like they received snow, instead of hail last night! I can assure you it was all hail😂🧊
Most of the hail reports I did see were close to quarter size hail. Which is an inch in diameter. However, I did see some larger hail reports closer towards Ralston. That’s where I found some 1.5”-2.0” hail reports! To put it in perspective, 2” hail is close to the size of a lime😳.
