Carolina Crown has long been know for their brass line, and rightfully so. Their shows from 2008-2011 solidified them as a force to be reckoned with, and 2012 pushed it to the limit. However, in 2013, the corps put to field a brass line so good, so clean, so pure, that their perfection has not been matched to this day. In my mind this show was one of the most deserved gold medals in the history of DCI, and forever changed the activity.
