Servicing the Relief Valve using AJS/2019 or AJS/2019-V is quick and easy. We recommend servicing after every 3000 hours of use.
PeraSpray™, JetStream™ and EasiDipper™ use the same Relief Valve – it is just in a slightly different position and with no tubes to heat (just a rubber elbow).
Unscrew the body top moulding and remove the diaphragm and plastic insert.
Disconnect the tube attached to the nipple. This may need to be heated on the Classic, but for the JetStream™ an elbow is used so this can just be pulled off.
Unscrew the main body.
Remove the small diaphragm and replace.
Remove the pad from the pressure module and replace it – although the old one can be pulled out, make sure to screw the new one in tightly.
Hand tighten the main body.
Making sure that the plastic insert and diaphragm are in the correct position, hand tighten the body top moulding.
Push the tubing back into position – it may need heating if you cannot get it fully into place over the nipple – on the JetStream™ this will be an elbow so heating will not be necessary. The tubing can be re-positioned before or after the body top moulding has been put back.
