Pre Christmas RAF Lakenheath was really buzzing, with this being one of the busiest afternoons I have seen in recent times from the RAF base in Suffolk. Filmed between 1230 – 1600, we witnessed over 30 separate fighter jet launches from the USAFs based squadrons of the 492nd, 494th & 495th respectively, which make up the USAFs 48th Fighter Wing.
This combined with some rather lovely winter lighting, cool conditions and the sunset it really made for some good filming.
