Ford Escort MK2 TURBO - Drift Car by Tountas Garage - Drift Kings Europe

Описание: This lovely Ford Escort MKII has been equipped with Turbo and modified to take part in the Drift races by the Greek company Tountas Garage. Here you see it in action during the Italian stage of the Drift Kings Europe which took place on the Modena circuit in 2019. I have to thank Nikos Tountas, who allowed us to install an action camera to get the OnBoard view during the race and gave us some techniques information. The engine block is the Cosworth 200 (Ford Sierra/Sapphire/RS500 Cosworth), the crank is ZPR for 2300cc engines, the connecting rods are also ZPR with diamond pistons. A 28/67 gen 2 turbo from Garrett has been installed, the gearbox is that of the BMW M3 e30 and the rear axle is the 8-inch one of the Mustang. Tested on the Dyno Maha Lps3000, the engine develops 550hp and 670Nm of torque at a pressure of 1.7 bar.

Questa splendida Ford Escort MKII è stata dotata di Turbo e modificata per prendere parte alle gare di Drift dall'azienda Greca Tountas Garage. Qui la vedete in azione durante la tappa italiana del Drift Kings Europe che si è svolta sul circuito di Modena nel 2019. Ringrazio Nikos Tountas che ci ha permesso di installare una action camera per ottenere la visuale OnBoard durante la gara e ci ha fornito alcune informazioni tecniche. Il blocco motore è quello Cosworth 200 (Ford Sierra/Sapphire/RS500 Cosworth), la manovella è nella ZPR per motori da 2300cc, anche le bielle sono ZPR ed i pistoni diamantati. E' stato installato un turbo 28/67 gen 2 della Garrett, il cambio è quello della BMW M3 e30 e l'assale posteriore è quello ad 8 pollici della Mustang. Testata sul banco Dyno Maha Lps3000 il motore sviluppa 550cv e 670Nm di coppia ad una pressiore di 1.7 bar.
