Alma Cogan sings 'You're No Good' on the radio show 'Saturday Club' in 1964.
Into the 1960s, Alma was moving away from her 50s image of the big gowns and novelty songs.
Mixing with the likes of John Lennon, Chris Curtis (from The Searchers) and the Rolling Stones manager, Andrew Loog Oldam - their influence swayed Alma to choose more contemporary songs.
Her last recordings, including covers of hits by the Beatles, were showing a different side of Alma.
In loving memory of Alma Cogan 1932-1966.
'Saturday Club' was a BBC Radio show in the United Kingdom, broadcast on the BBC Light Programme and later BBC Radio 1 between 1957 and 1969 - specifically aimed at the teenage audience and was hosted by Brian Matthew.
