We were in a shop that had used guitars for sale and I picked one up and started my finger scales I've used since I was 14 years old. Constance listened and said, " That was beautiful." When I told her it was just a finger scale exercise I wrote years ago, she said, "You need to make a song out of it". Honestly, I've always used it as a D scale, and never occurred to Me to write a song from it. But I added a chorus.
