Iranian police release video showing British ambassador at protests in Tehran

Iran has described British ambassador Rob Macaire's presence at anti-government demonstrations as "illegal and inappropriate".
Police released this video they say proves his participation in protests. Iran summoned the British ambassador on Sunday deepening a diplomatic rift between the countries.
Macaire denounced his detention on Saturday which he said was "of course illegal" saying he had attended a vigil for victims of the Ukrainian Airlines crash, but left as protests broke out.
