For the third time in April, hundreds of protesters gathered outside the Indiana Statehouse to push back against what they call an authoritarian presidency.
“There is a myriad of reasons why we're here and for them, but for the most part, we're here because we have young kids, and we want a safer world for them,” said Barbara Hughey, who was at the protest with her daughter and three sisters.
Saturday’s “Shred Project 2025” rally was the third protest in April put on by the Indiana branch of the 50501 movement—meaning 50 protests, 50 states, 1 movement, according to their website.
