Описание: Mr. Clarence Kissell and Dr. Porter talk about development of their flying car. Preliminary design and calculations were performed by Martin Hollmann in 1993. It is powered by a 232 hp Mazda RX-8 engine. In the car mode, it drives the front wheels through a Volkswagen transaxel. In flight, a drive shaft from the rotary motor spins a rear-mounted propeller. With pure determination over a period of 16 years, of both Kissell and Porter and, after many alterations by a team from MIT, the Air Car was successfully flown in 2008.
