Ontario based Jaguar Sun is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Chris Minielly - now performing live with a full band composed of guitarist Jesse Maranger, bassist and trumpeter Laura Sones, synthesizer player James Reesor, drummer Dave Klassen, and percussionist Amit Mehta. Weaving together inspiration from artists such as Real Estate, Youth Lagoon, and Fruit Bats, Minielly creates dreamy, pop based soundscapes with an emphasis on the bittersweet.
