In this video, I tackle the challenge of upgrading my old Panasonic DH-3JP2 bathroom heater to the newer DH-3VP2 model — without drilling new mounting holes in the wall!
The existing holes from the old unit were in a different position, but instead of creating new ones (and risking wall damage), I found a workaround:
What I Did:
Marked the existing wall hole positions onto the back housing of the new DH-3VP2 heater.
Drilled precise holes into the new heater’s casing to align perfectly with the old mounting points.
Secured the unit using the original wall anchors and screws—no extra drilling needed!
Why This Works:
Saves time and effort by reusing the old holes.
Avoids wall damage from new drilling.
Ensures a secure fit for the upgraded heater.
