This video shows how I made a Oil Insert for my UCO Candle Lantern, using a travel can of hair mousse, 100% cotton T-shirt, a coaxial cable connector and some metal epoxy putty.
In the summer I can burn citronella oil for an outdoor mosquito repellent and in the winter, I burn indoor paraffin oil to keep moisture from accumulating in my tent. My homemade oil insert burned 15 hours on a full tank of paraffin oil. Not too shabby, eh! Have a great day and enjoy the woods!!
