Elephant's Trunk Nebula Captured With Large Telescope

Описание: The Elephant's Trunk Nebula is a concentration of interstellar gas and dust within the much larger ionized gas region IC 1396 located in the constellation Cepheus. This nebula is approximately 2,400 light years away from Earth.

I'm still using my main Celestron CGX and large refractor telescope setup. I pointed at the Elephant's Trunk nebula and captured over 22 hours of narrowband data on it. This nebula is processed in the Hubble Palette. Here is more info:
