This would be the band's last show in Italy until 1982. Peter's voice continues to be strained and poor, but the band are an absolute unit. To nobody's surprise, Phil totally steals the show, and Watcher of the Skies may as well be his definitive drumming performance for it ever captured. Italy was one of the first countries to embrace and support Genesis, and it is quite a sentimental listen knowing this is the last time they would experience this lineup of the band. There's a few bloopers from the sound team tonight, as they accidently play the Old Man River outro tape at the start of Grand Parade, and also screw up the volume of Peter's microphone here and there as well.
