Описание: The state competition was held at the Texsa Section AWWA's Texas Water 2013 Conference in Galveston, TX April 9-12. This specific competition involves taping of a ductile iron pipe (folks this means cutting a hole in it by hand!), installing the pipe tap, connections and valving necessary for a residential connection. Time wise, teams went from 1:29 to 3ish minutes that I saw. The team in the video is SAWS, San Antonio Water Supply, they were fast. Winners move on to nationals. Other competitions involved servicing meters, pipe cutting, and performing water analysis!
