A few years ago, I wrote a pilot script set in the Star Wars Universe. With all that's happening in the world, I wanted to closely examine how democracies turn into dictatorships, and Emperor Palpatine seemed like a great character to explore.

I was told that my script is too dark and too complex/complicated. So I thought I'd discuss it with my viewers and let you guys be the judges.

Star Wars: Imperium analyzes Palpatine's relationship to Darth Vader, along with exploring how the the emperor removes the Senate of all real power to check him in any meaningful way.

I also discuss how I'd like Anika Noni Rose to be brought into the Star Wars Universe.

And I also bring in Jar Jar Binks for a cameo... But I think most fans will think I did it in a tasteful way.
