Meager Creek has been devastated by one of the largest landslides in recent history, large enough to send seismic waves to Washington and Alaska. It’s hard to believe that this could be related to logging, but an audit of the logging company operating there is currently underway because of the excessive harvesting of old growth that happened on Mt Meager prior to the slide. Whether it was the cause of the landslide or not, the logging companies have moved across the valley to still hit their harvesting targets despite having lost so much forest due to the landslide. This means both sides of the valley are being decimated.
Lets make a change.
