Story
My entitlement to drive in the uk was being revoked because I supposedly had 6 penalty point on my full UK driver’s license within 2 years of passing my fist test. What this means is… I was not allowed to drive at all and my drivers license was expected to be returned to the DVLA within a given timeframe, specifically 28days from the date of the conviction letter. And to regain my entitlement to drive, i will need to obtain a provisional driving license and comply with the conditions of a learner driver until I pass another theory and practical test. Bear in mind I went through this process

I rang DVLA the following Monday. The lady I spoke to said it was an instruction from the police and at this stage, is only the magistrate that can offer advice. She provided me with the magistrate contact details, I called them immediately after, explained the situation and how I am convicted without my knowledge. The court lady then read out what my original offence was and I asked for that to email to me. I then told her I have no knowledge about the offence and I needed to appeal. She read out the appeal options and I went in for STATUTORY DECLARATIONS. Mind you, the lady was not legally allowed to offer any form of suggestion or guidance in making a decision. So I have to had read about the options before reaching out
The court sent out an email with my court appearance date, instructions and some forms to fill out. ….
