Michael Jackson has arrived at Kimpo International Airport in Seoul ahead of his tour dates.
He will be staying in Seoul for six days, and will perform two concerts, on October 11th, and October 13th.
Michael Jackson's arrived at the Kimpo International airport in Seoul.
He plans to stay in Seoul for six days.
During his stay Michael Jackson will perform his concerts at the Olympic Main Stadium on the 11th and 13th of October.
Besides his concerts, he has nothing else in his schedule except for a meeting with Cardinal Stephen Kim Suhwan
Fans holding signs and banners were waiting anxiously for him outside the airport.
Most were students who skipped school to see him.
Some 200 fans shouted "Michael, Michael," "We love You," in hopes of getting his attention.
Since his child molestation accusations in recent years Jackson has become more of a controversial figure - but his fans remain loyal.

"I don't understand why some oppose him coming to Seoul, when the reasons (concert opposing opinions) they give don't seem to make any sense, and the sexual molestation accusations haven't even been proven for a fact."

Fans jumped up and down and pushed against the police to get a better glimpse of the pop star.
Some 3,600 policemen and 140 bodyguards were deployed for security, making this the longest welcoming event of all the entertainment related events that came to South Korea so far.
Several fans even burst into tears because they were prevented by police from getting close to their hero.

"They protect us. We came here early to see Michael Jackson."

Michael Jackson's fans waited on average of 4 hours outside the airport, to see their beloved pop star, even if it was only for 15 minutes.
For security reasons, Michael Jackson had to leave his devoted fans escorted by the bodyguards.
He told them - "I love you."
And after receiving the flowers, he left for the hotel that he will be staying during his Seoul concert tour.
