“Why do you even need that?”
A question I’ve heard more than once.
But my bike isn’t for cruising around flowerbeds in the park.
It’s not for racking up flat kilometers.
And it’s definitely not for kickstands, reflectors, or handlebar bags.
This bike is for gravity. For enduro. For freeride.
For trails that hit back.
Where the terrain talks first, and you answer with gear that holds up.
So I installed a chain guide with a bashguard — the E13 Vario Enduro.
To keep the chain where it belongs, and maybe — just maybe — protect the chainring from that one nasty rock.
It won’t survive a full-speed direct hit.
But it might save the ride. And sometimes, that’s enough.
And yes, I installed it properly — under Mozart.
