The biocontainment system Billy-cab, Completely made in Italy, is the only device compatible with all types of stretchers and allows patient transport in a semi-sitting position, ideal in case of respiratory distress.
The HEPA filter with 99.9995% filtration and the negative pressure chamber constantly monitored by a LED display and alarms guarantee maximum safety for operators. Billy-CAB is also the only one installed directly in the ambulance - this allows quick use and sanitation and optimizes the vehicle setup time.
The system has 8 portholes to assist the patient with gloves, connect medical devices and collect infected waste. A pair of interchangeable and redundant batteries ensures an autonomy of 12 hours. Another factor of extreme importance for safety is the possibility of using the belts supplied with the stretcher, this is not always possible with other biocontainment systems installed on the stretcher.
