What is dfinity? I’m going to try to answer that question in this dfinity review, in this icp crypto explained video.

I read the whitepaper, which was really just a long paper on theoretical and mathematical proofs. I won’t recommend reading it unless you really want to because most of us can’t do anything about it and we are not qualified to have any say in the proofs. But as investors, we want to get the highlights of what Dfinity is and whether it’s legit.

So, I will run over the whitepaper quickly giving you the highlights of ICP’s consensus mechanism. Then we’ll talk about what is internet computer and what they’re trying to achieve and how that will free many developers and companies from the control of big tech.

And then I’ll compare it to Holochain which is a fair competitor to ICP and I’ll dig down to the differences between the two, so I encourage you to watch the entire video to understand ICP and Dfinity.
