In this DROPS video we show you how to knit a basic waffle pattern using knit and purl stitches.
Cast on a number of sts that can be divided by 3 + 1.
In this video we cast on 16 sts (15+1) and we already worked 4 pattern repeats to make the texture show:
Row 1 (WS): K1, * P2, K1 *, repeat *-* across.
Row 2 (RS): P1, * K2, P1 *, repeat *-* across.
Row 3 (WS): K across.
Row 4 (RS): same as Row.2
Repeat row 1-4 until desired length and bind off on row 3.
