We're live now with Ellen Plummer, Chief Healthcare Integration Officer from West Michigan Community Mental Health, to discuss a vital resource in our community: Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC)!
If you or a loved one are experiencing an urgent behavioral health situation that doesn't require emergency medical care, the BHUC is here to help. It offers walk-in support with immediate access to care, providing a much faster option than the Emergency Department.
Ellen will walk us through the services offered, including:
Immediate assessment and evaluation
De-escalation and crisis intervention
Care coordination and medication management support
Visit the BHUC in person at 920 Diana St. in Ludington (East Entrance) or access telehealth services at local offices in Hart and Baldwin.
