Описание: Anthony graduated from the Oden Institute at UT-Austin in 2008 with an outstanding education in computational sciences, engineering, and mathematics, but relatively little knowledge and understanding of the large and important commercial industry that has developed around those subjects. This talk highlights that industry, including a discussion on how it impacts the economy, and the 'pipeline' that funnels work from the Oden Institute (and others like it) directly into commercial simulation codes, and ultimately to end-users and industries.
